Cardiovascular Diagnostic Services

At Advanced Cardiology Associates, our interventional cardiologists work with teams of experts at the area's best hospitals, treating acute and chronic heart conditions, as patients experience chest pain (angina), leg pain, and other symptoms that may lead to a stroke, heart attack, or worse.

We provide a full range of cardiovascular diagnostic services at both our Rochester Hills and Oxford offices. Our expert cardiac physicians are specialists in cardiac consultation, surgical cardiac clearance, risk factor assessments, disease prevention, arrhythmia management, and pacemaker management.

Our diagnostic imaging centers, conveniently located within our offices, are nationally accredited by the ICANL (Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Laboratories) and IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) for echocardiography and are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and highly trained staff.

We can perform a wide variety of diagnostic tests to detect heart and vascular conditions or other complications as quickly and early as possible. In addition, we perform the following diagnostic tests:

Echocardiography:

• 3D echocardiography (color flow & Doppler)

Vascular Studies:

• Carotid duplex
• Abdominal ultrasound for aortic aneurysm

• Ankle-brachial index (ABI)
• Lower extremity duplex for deep vein thrombosis
• Lower extremity duplex for reflux

Arrhythmia Monitoring:

Nuclear Cardiology & Stress Testing:

• Cardiac stress test
• Nuclear myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI)
• MPI with pharmacological stress test (dipyridamole/Lexiscan/adenosine)
• MUGA scan (ERNA)
• Treadmill stress test
